1955 Chevy 3100 Short Bed Truck 1955 was a split production year, this is a 55 early series 3100 New Crate 350 Engine with Holley 750 Carb Rebuilt 350 Turbo Transmission w Lokar Shifter 8.8 Ford Posi Rear End with 3.31 Gears Vintage Air & Heat Chassis Swapped on an 2004 S-10 Frame Frame and Suspension Components all Sandblasted and Painted All New Steering Components & Bushings Front Sway Bar Power Brakes 4 Wheel Disc All New Power Steering Aluminum Fuel Tank with In-Tank Electric Fuel Pump All New Wiring New Dolphin Gauges all Working New Tilt Column with "Indy 500" Steering Wheel All New Glass and Seals Working Windshield Wipers New Chrome Bumpers and Grille Amazing preserved patina. The green seen on one of the layers of paint is from when this was a forest service truck. Body is protected with "patina sauce", its not a spray on clear coat but dries to a hard finish that repels water and is easy to clean. The body has some obvious rust on the exterior but the floors are solid and cab corners were repaired. This truck is very comfortable to drive. With the fuel tank relocated under the bed and the nice bucket seats there is plenty of leg room. This is a well built truck that has just over 7k miles on the build, drives really well and is sorted out. Turn key and ready to go. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country. $28,500 314/498/0950
